You Must Get....

Craig and I were enjoying a quiet morning reading our emails and browsing online when Craig said, "Lake Glenville," with a twinkle in his eyes. I know immediately that he has found another destination for us to go to get the "You Must Get" shot. That shot that makes you smile when you look at it and know that it will be enjoyed by others too.

The "You Must Get" shot is what motivates photographers. The problem associated with it is that it never ends. Even when you get the must get shot at one location, you now have a new destination on your horizon. Of course, the joy, in this case, is you are always looking at the beauty God created around us and thrilled to be behind the lens capturing it.

Another idea that formed on "you must get," is this; you must get out and enjoy the area where you live. Whether you are in a city filled with great architecture and people, the rural areas dotted with great farms and livestock, the burbs cluttered with parks and children, the dessert with its own beautiful landscaping or the mountains with their huge peaks, you simply must get out and take it all in.
